10 + years experience required, with heavy mining / industrial structural experience (mining processing plants, structural steel and concrete works), with good familiarity with Spacegas. This is principally a senior / project lead technical role, not a project management role. Prospective applicants would need to be prepared to carry out higher end detailed structural design, as well as take on project lead role functions. Experience in both wet and dry areas of mineral processing plants, which includes hands on design of crushing stations, conveyors, grinding/milling areas, flotation, thickening, filtration, tanks and pumping selection and sizing. Experience in piping/pumping systems for water and slurry will be highly regarded.

Key requirement will be to manage the interface with the technology supplier for a major furnace rebuild project. Perform a technical evaluation of technology suppliers submittals. 8-15 years experience for senior or +15 years experience for principal.

The position is for an estimator to lead a group of multi-disciplinary senior estimators for a multi-billion dollar project in the mining industry. The successful candidate must have ssignificant estimating experience in a lead position in design office and on project sites. Such experience has preferably been gained in a mining and minerals project environment. Ideally the candidate will have gained considerable experience in multi-million dollar EPC projects, together with a working knowledge of estimating feasibility studies on large projects. The successful person will be an outward going energetic type with well developed communication skills, that feels at ease interacting with clients and project people at any level. It is also expected candidates will possess an engineering degree and have a fundamental understanding of engineering.

Quality Officer, preferably with 10 years exp to review/control engineering quality, assist in 'pay' setup and work with procurement inspectors within corporate and project environment.

Civil Engineer with 5-10 years experience. Experience in drainage, road/site development, water supply, large earthworks design, estimating and scope development is preferred. Will supervise junior engineers and design staff, must have good communication and leadership skills.

This person will develop work breakdown and project coding structures and develop the change management process including estimates of changes. Will also be required to perform forecasts, progress measurement and reporting. Will be competent with cost control systems like CMS and Microsoft packages such as Access and Excel. Must have minimum 2 years relevant experience in project controls supported by an Engineering or Construction degree OR 8 years experience if no technical degree.

Responsible for processing and payment of vendor/subcontractor invoices in accordance with policy and procedures. Require 2 -3 years experience. SAP desirable.

This position is responsible for the finance, reporting, administration and project controls on our Gladstone site. They will be required to administer the contract pricing structure in strict accordance with terms and conditions of the contract with the client and subcontractors. Can be fly-in/fly-out or relocation.

Staff position.
Some of the more specific responsibilities of this role will include: Undertaking scheduling refinery activities in the P3e scheduling tool; Preparing and reviewing schedules for execution of maintenance work; Monitoring the interface between SAP-PM and P3e using Impress; Publishing scheduled activities on the Geelong web each Friday; and Performing daily confirmations of all completed Operations and TECO work orders that are in Status MCMP and CANC.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant trade certificate, and will have experience using Primavera. This role requires a strong communicator, with planning, technical and estimating skills. Competency in SAP-PM is essential.

Staff position.
Shutdown Planner:
The ideal candidate will have a trade background, and relevant on-site experience (e.g. resources, engineering or construction industries). Fluor is seeking someone with planning / scheduling experience and knowledge, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. You will require at least a sound level of computer literacy (including Microsoft Office skills).

Maintenance Planner:
The successful candidate will require experience in maintenance planning in a heavy industry environment, with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously and within a team. Previous experience / exposure to the oil and gas or a related industry will be held in high regard, but is not essential.

Staff position.
Planning Superintendent:
The successful candidate will require experience in planning systems and tools, along with the ability to understand alliance operational perspective and business drivers (with a strong customer focus). Operational experience on a power plant will be held in high regard, but is not essential.

Contracts Superintendent:
The successful candidate will require significant experience in contractor management (ideally within a maintenance environment) with excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.

Projects Superintendent:
The successful candidate will require significant site-based experience in the engineering, construction, maintenance and/or heavy industries. Fluor is seeking someone with experience in a relevant mechanical or electrical trade, and an understanding of the trades and disciplines involved in site operations. A understanding of Rigging / Cranes, current driver's licence, and sound communication and computer skills are essential.

Shutdown Superintendent:
This position requires a qualified engineer with significant experience in heavy industry (e.g. construction, maintenance), and specific experience in planning, scheduling and managing shutdowns. The Shutdown Superintendent should possess a high level of computer and software literacy (preferably in Microsoft Office, SAP and Primavera), and strong time management, problem solving and facilitation skills.

The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Business, Finance) or will have equivalent experience in an engineering / construction environment. Fluor is seeking someone with high level SAP skills and experience, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and well developed communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

Responsible for the overall programme-wide management of the definition and delivery of the area facilities including coordination of engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, commissioning, and regulatory approvals between individual projects delivering defined segments of increased capacity. Works with the project teams to ensure that the work in the area is implemented to maximize the benefit to the overall programme, and ensures the necessary opportunities, interfaces and constraints are properly identified in the project delivery. Extensive experience required in the overall management and delivery of major projects in the defined areas as noted below.
